Success is based on many factors
+ Hard work
+ Talent
+ Time
+ Luck
The last two factors are neglected in the modern society and
the result is given more importance. But, as we look at them with a close observation,
we see their importance.
“Time of doing the Act”
Consider the act of writing an Exam. The Exam is at morning,
Ajay (consider) get to the exam hall late by half an hour. He starts writing in
a hurry making counting and careless mistakes. He forgets his formulas as he didn’t had a
last time look through his formula sheet.
Consider the act at noon, he gets enough time to go through
all his topics. A friend asks him two questions and Ajay explains them to his
friend well, in this way Ajay also gets good experience in handle those
questions. The same question comes for the exam and Ajay writes them well.
Similarly Ajay’s friend also writes the same two essay question and gets a pass
mark.
Very small things that we neglect in life integrates and
causes great effects in the future.
Example : You goes to
a hotel and tips the waiter 50 rupees, now he adds another 50 rupees and get to
a theatre. He pays 80 rupees for the film and buys popcorn for 20 rupees. The
Pop corn seller earns 20 rupees from the hotel waiter. He takes 100 rupees and goes
for a hair cut. He pays 70 rupees ( ‘20’+50 ) to the barber, he gets a hair
cut...on the way home in his bike, a hair falls in his eyes and meets with an
accident.
In this way some very small incidents in your life may turn
into greater things.
Everything we undergo is pre written and can never be
changed.
Heard of
curses, about the yogis and powerful sages who turn people into monkeys , its
said that the Kal or time is the one who makes sages utter those powerful words
that will help time to execute the divine plan.

An Example :
And
Narada went straight to Vaikuntha and he said, “Vishnu, you got to do something
for me, I have a favor for you, I want you to turn me into the most handsome
prince and deck me out with many ornaments, and gold, and finery and silks and
satins and make me as beautiful and as desirable as possible.” And Vishnu said,
“Narada, why, I thought you had just conquered the God of Love.” And Narada
said, “Oh, yes, I did conquer the God of Love but now I’m thinking that I
should marry this princess.” And this is going to be her swayamvar, she is
going to choose her husband, I want to have the most distinctive appearance.”
And Vishnu promised, “I’m going to give you the most distinctive
appearance.” And he dressed him in the finest, and gave him a golden crown. And
gave him all these ornaments, and made jewels and necklaces and garlands and he
made him the most beautiful looking prince with the face of a monkey.
Narada went to the assembly of all the kings and princes and he
walked in knowing that he was the most beautiful of all the princes. The
princess walked right past him and then she came to the last of the Kings
assembled and she gave the garland to Vishnu.
Narada said, “Wait! You made a mistake, I’m the most beautiful man
here, I’m the most handsome prince and I am deserving of this garland.” And
everyone started to laugh. Now, Narada went and looked in the looking glass and
he saw he had the face of a monkey. And he got mad, he took some Ganga Jal in
his hand and he said, “Vishnu, I asked you to make me beautiful so that I could
get the heart of my beloved and win my beloved, and instead you turned me into
a monkey. And now I’ve lost my beloved, I curse you Vishnu! you’re going to
make friends with monkeys, and monkeys are going to be your helpers, and your
saviors, and your devotees. And you think that it’s funny that I look like a
monkey and I lost my beloved, here, is my curse!”
The Vanaras helping Lord Ram built the bridge |
In Treta Yuga,
Vishnu incarnated as a human, Ram and was assisted by divine monkey race called
Vanaras in his battle against the Demon King Ravan.
That is... some curses can be boons and everything that
happened, what is going to happen and what is happening is all for good , this must not be considered
in terms of a individual life but the life of a soul, this life and many lifes
to come.
It’s like everything we see in this world is an aspect or
form of Brahman doing their small roles in a drama written and directed by
Brahman. We, the actors can never change the story or script, we have to just
act according to the scene.
Reading this some may
think that , everything is pre written and we need not do anything...if your
thinking like that , it is your destiny.
Do your work and never expect its
result , it may be positive or negative. You may study hard but sometimes you
lose , but this knowledge you have gained will help you somewhere more
important. Like as some great man told, a sheet of paper never judge our future.
If a person is destined to Die today, then where ever he
hide, he shall die, there is no escape from death. When your role is finished
you have to go for a dress change and then act as a different character or move
away from the drama. This happens when you have completely finished your roles,
KARMA. When you have completely finished your duties( Karma ) you will be
liberated from the cycle or deaths and rebirths and will be united with
Brahman( Supreme Soul ).
