God Yahweh 

TIMNA – Around 3,200 years ago, the great empires around the Mediterranean and the Middle East suddenly imploded. The Egyptians retreated from Canaan and the copper mines of Timna in the Negev, skulking back to the banks of the Nile. And in the arid wastes of southern Canaan, a new power arose. The Timna mines were taken over by semi-nomadic tribes, which set up a mining operation that dwarfed the previous Egyptian industry. This new desert kingdom would leave its mark on the main building at Timna: the Egyptian temple of Hathor, protector of miners. The new masters smashed the effigy of the Egyptian deity – leaving the fragments to be found by archaeologists more than 3,000 years later – and set up over the ruins of the temple a tent sanctuary, judging by the remains of heavy red and yellow fabric found in the 1970s. There they worshipped a new god, one that had no apparent name or face. That miners' god was none other than the deity known by the four Hebrew letters YHWH, who would become the God of the Jews and, by extension, of Christians and Muslims.

The origin of “Gods name” YHWH is found in the worlds most ancient writings – the Sumerian Epics of Gilgamesh. In one of five epics, the hero-king Gilgamesh travels to God’s Mountain to slay the Beast. The name of the Beast in original Sumerian is “Huwawa”.

Disturbing is it? Yes, to those who have the slightest interest in religion, this is very disturbing indeed, as it shows that the Hebrew God YHWH is not the most high creator of universe, but quite the opposite, the Beast. 

In another version, on the same Kish Tablets, Gilgamesh is killing “The Bull of Heaven”. It is most likely that Huwawa and this Bull is the same mythological figure, namely the astrological star sign of Taurus.
The age of Taurus was between 4320 BC and 2160 BC, precisely the same period as the Sumerian culture. By killing the Bull, Gilgamesh put an end to the age of  Taurus, and welcomed the age of Aries the Ram (the age of Judah)

By these words you might recognize another biblical story about the tribe of Dan, accused of worshiping a golden calf. From this point of view, Moses was angered by the simple fact that the Age of Taurus was actually over, and that the people of Dan now had to worship Aries the Ram instead. It is not really about idolatry, and the people of Dan should be accused of this no longer.

Who is Yahweh really? Without doubt, the origin and identity of the god of the Jews are topics shrouded in mystery. 
According to the Bible, Yahweh is the only god who created heaven and earth and nobody else is like him. However, contrary to the claims of traditional Judeochristian theology, modern biblical scholarship reveals another story. In reality, jehovitic monotheism was quite a late invention in the history of the Hebrew people and has its origin in the 7th century BCE according to the academic consensus. 

In fact, the biblical deity begins his life in the Hebrew Bible under the name El and sometimes its plural form Elohim, and later adopts the epithet Yahweh when he presents himself to Moses for the first time on Mount Horeb. In other words, Yahweh is not a personal name but rather a divine title which can be translated as 'he who makes exist' or 'he who creates'. 

El was regarded as the highest deity of the ancient semitic pantheon and revered as the Father of all the Elohim together with his consort Asherah. His divine sons, known as the Bene ha Elohim or 'sons of the gods', included semitic gods such as Baal, Kothar-wa-Khasis, Ashtarte and Mot. These sons of the divine couple of El and Asherah would later be turned into fallen angels, the Sons of God, in Genesis 6:2 and also in the apocryphal Enochian literature in accordance with the new monotheistic theology (Day, 2002iv; Smith, 2003v). In the pre-Israelite Canaanite religion El was known by the divine title El dū yahwī ṣaba’ôt whose meaning is 'El who creates the hosts (armies)' (Miller, 2000vi). 

Usually as we talk astrologically, each god have a planet for example , Aries represents mars, Kronus represents Saturn in greek while in Hindu texts God Brihaspati represent Jupiter, God Sastha represents Saturn etc.  The Hebrew's God always had saturn as his planet so it's said that Hebrew's were always Saturn worshipers from the beginning. Although the Jews would like to conceal it, Judaism has always been a saturnic cult whose god is none other than El/Kronos and therefore Anu.
The connection between Kronos and Anu cannot be completely proved as Kronous comes from the greek myths and Anu from Sumerian Myths. But based on the planet of the god, they believe all are the same but it cannot be accepted completely. For example, Lord Brihaspati and Lord Vishnu have their planet as Jupiter but both are different.

Everybody knows that the sacred day of the Hebrew god is Saturday. Saturday is intrinsically liked to the ancient deity Saturn-Kronos. Although languages such as Spanish and Modern Greek have adopted the word sábado/sábbato whose most well known meaning is 'day of rest', the seventh day of the week (Saturday) was called Diēs Saturnī or 'Day of Saturn' in Latin and Kronía in honor of Kronos in Classical Greek. In the semitic religion El was represented by a solar disk often with wings whose center contained a pointed star. In the Book of Amos we read that the god whom the Hebrews worshiped was represented by a kind of star (Amos 5:26). Likewise, the Sumerian god Anu was represented by the same pointed star inside a solar disk.

In the semitic religion, El, just like his Greek equivalent Kronos, was associated with the planet Saturn. The bloodcurdling truth is that Judaism has always been a cult of Saturn from its beginning. The sacred day of El-Yahweh is Saturday, the day of Saturn, called Diēs Saturnī in Latin and Kronía in classical Greek. Many people know that Sabbath (Saturday) comes from Shabbath whose meaning is 'day of rest', but very few people know that this Hebrew root shares its etymology with the ancient term Shabbathai, the name of the god and the planet Saturn in Hebrew. 
From all these what we understand is that on the making of Yahweh, the attributes of Anu and Kronus was also included into El and confused to Yahweh. From this the worshipers of Yahweh wanted to create a complete God out of the war lord, mining god El.
So they renamed El as Yahweh and made him the so called ONE GOD.

Yahweh's policy of obscurantism doesn't stop their. The Mosaic law forbids any kind of spiritual knowledge from magic and divination to communication with familiar spirits or interdimensional entities (Leviticus 19:26; 19:31; Deuteronomy 18:10-12). Why did Yahweh fear so much that he forbade people to communicate with interdimensional beings? The answer is that Yahweh was scared that humans have contact with their ancestral gods and know the truth about his true identity.

Are Yahweh and El the same god ? 
In other words, Yahweh was always an epithet associated with the primordial deity El in the pre-biblical semitic religion. Therefore, Yahweh and El have always been the same entity.
According to the Canaanite texts, El presided over the divine assembly along with his son Baal, but he always maintained his status as the highest god (Smith, 2009viii). Fourth, both were blood-lusting gods whose cult demanded human sacrifice and the holocaust of firstborn males. 

The Hebrews would inherit their sacrificial practices from the Canaanite cult directly (Smith, 2002ix). 

Both had as an epithet Father of Years and were described as aged gods. The references to Yahweh in the Bible such as Ancient of Days whose hair was as white as pure wool (Daniel 7:9) and the great god (El in the original Hebrew text) whose years are unsearchable (Job 36:26) are identical to the descriptions of El in the Ugaritic texts (Day, 2002x). 
 El was represented by a pointed star inside a solar disk with wings in the Canaanite religion and the god whom the Jews worshiped was associated with the star in the Bible (Amos 5:26). Presently the main symbol of Judaism is the Star of David or the Seal of Solomon. The Cult of Yahweh in Judaism has its roots in the Cult of El of the polytheistic semitic peoples such as the Canaanites and the Phoenicians.

The semitic deity El, known also as Yahweh in the Hebrew Bible, has his origin in the very ancient Sumerian pantheon and is identical to the sky god Anu. However, the revelation doesn't end there. The following is much more surprising and shocking.

 In ancient times the same El of the western Semites was identified with Kronos in the Hellenic religion (Smith, 2002xvii). For the Levantine peoples, El and Kronos were identical. 
Who was Kronos? Kronos was the Greek name of none other than the violent and bloodthirsty Roman god Saturn. Just like Anu-El in the Middle East, Saturn-Kronos in the Mediterranean mythology was the highest titan of the pantheon, the lord of the throne of heaven, a violent usurper who had defeated his own father for supremacy and a ruthless tyrant. Identical to El in the semitic religion, Saturn-Kronos was a god of harvest and agriculture and was also considered the Father of Timejust as El was known as 'Father of Years' and 'Ancient of Days' in the pre-Israelite semitic texts and in some books of the Hebrew Bible. Besides, Saturn-Kronos was an infanticidal god who devoured children and his cult was characterized by human sacrifice and the offering of firstborn sons in holocaust. This would explain why we find some vestiges of the practice of human sacrifice and ritual infanticide in the jehovitic cult in the texts of the primary history of the Hebrew Bible. The main symbols of Saturn-Kronos were the scythe, the cross and the waning moon.

Long before becoming the deity of the Israelites, Yahweh was a god of metallurgy in the ancient Canaanite pantheon, worshiped by smelters and metalworkers throughout the Levant, not just by the Hebrews. 

where did the YHWH cult originate? Who were the first people to worship him? And how did he end up being the sole deity of a group called Israel, who, as their very name says (in Hebrew), didn’t even start out as a Yahwistic people, but as followers of El, the main god of the Canaanite pantheon? 

Fire and brimstone

Most scholars already believe that the cult of Yahweh first emerged somewhere in the southern Levant, partly based on Egyptian texts from the late second millennium B.C.E. These documents describe groups of Canaanite nomads collectively known as Shasu, including one tribe named Shasu Yhw(h) – perhaps the first recorded Yahweh worshippers in history.

The Bible itself may contain a memory of this southern origin of Yahweh, as it tells us explicitly that God “came from Teman” (Habbakuk 3:3) or that he “went out of Seir” and “marched out of Edom” (Judges 5:4-5) – all toponyms associated with the area ranging from Sinai to the Negev and northern Arabia.

Reading between the lines, the Bible contains clues pointing to an original identity for Yahweh as a metallurgical deity.

In the Bible, Yahweh’s appearance is usually accompanied by volcanic-like phenomena. When he descends upon Mt. Sinai to reveal the Torah to the Jews, the mountain erupts in fire, spewing lava and billowing clouds accompanied by earthquakes and thunderstorms (Exodus 19:16-19).

In antiquity, metallurgical deities like the Greek Hephaestus or his eponymous Roman equivalent, Vulcan, were associated with volcanic descriptions - which closely mirror the smoke, fire, black slag and molten red metal produced in the smelting process.

Poetic metaphors throughout the Bible describe Yahweh as a fiery deity who makes the mountains smoke (Psalms 144:5) and melts them down (Isaiah 63:19b), just like smelters melt down ore to obtain copper and other metals, the researcher notes. In fact, in Psalm 18:18 Yahweh is depicted as anthropomorphized furnace: “smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it.”

Yahweh’s metallurgical attributes were also on display in the pillar of fire and smoke by which he guides the Hebrews in the desert (Exodus 13:21) and the cloud that accompanies his visits to the Tent of Meeting (Exodus 33:9-10), a simpler version of the Tabernacle in which Moses speaks face to face with God.

The description of this tent bears remarkable similarities to the sanctuary in Timna, further suggesting that 3,000 years ago, this place may have been dedicated to the worship of Yahweh.

Further biblical evidence of this broadened base of worshipers can be found in the Book of Exodus, where a key role is played by Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, who lives near the mountain of God (alternatively called Horeb and Sinai).

It is Jethro who indirectly leads Moses to his first meeting with Yahweh at the burning bush. And it is he who inaugurates the Tent of Meeting with a sacrifice and proclaims that “Yahweh is greater than all other gods” for having freed the Hebrew slaves from Egypt (Exodus 18:7-12).

But Moses’ father-in-law is not an Israelite: he is described alternatively as a Midianite priest (Exodus 3:1) and a Kenite (Judges 1:16).

Now, according to Bible, the Midianites were descendants of Midian, another son of Abraham, which again supports the idea of the existence of an extended family of Yahwistic peoples. The Kenites, on the other hand, are a tribe descended from Cain and described as living among all the peoples of the Levant and specializing in crafts and metalworking, which, according to Amzallag, is further evidence that Yahweh’s first incarnation was as a smelting god.

Recent archaeological, biblical, and extrabiblical research has led scholars working in the area of the origins of Israelite religion to assert rather boldly and confidently that the original god of Israel was in fact the Canaanite deity El. Just exactly how has this come about you ask?

First, the name Israel is not a Yahwistic name. El is the name of the deity invoked in the name Israel, which translates: “May El persevere.”2This suggests that El was seen as the chief god in the formative years of Israel’s religious practices. In fact, the etiological story explaining the origin of the name Israel occurs in Genesis 35:9-15, where Jacob obtains this name through the blessing of El Shaddai, that is “El of the Mountain.”

Who was El? And why is he even mentioned in the Bible in the first place, let alone as the god of Israel in the older literary traditions of Genesis?

Our knowledge of El predominantly comes from an invaluable corpus of tablets discovered in 1929 in the ancient city of Ugarit, a major city-state of the second millennium BC located on the northern coast of Syria, modern day Ras Shamra. The Ugaritic tablets are the best available witness to Canaanite religion and religious practices, and thus also “to the background from which the religion of Israel emerged, and to the Canaanite beliefs that it shared, adopted, compromised with, and sometimes rejected.” The Ugaritic literature depicts El as the sovereign deity of the Canaanite pantheon. He is frequently referred to as “Father of the gods,” “the eternal King,” and “Creator of all living beings.” El’s other epithets include: “El the Kind, the Compassionate,” “the Bull,” “the Ageless One,” and “the Father of Years.” He is depicted as bearded, and residing in a tent or a tabernacle, whose throne rests on Cherubim. He is the god of blessings and of covenants.

It is provable therefore, as many commentators have contended, that the early Israelites actually worshiped El through his epithet ‘Yahweh.’ This process of assimilation is usually presented the other way around in the biblical literature: Yahweh is worshiped through the epithets of El: Shaddai, Olam, and Elyon.

Contrary to these biblical traditions that suggest an assimilation between Yahweh and El, there are other passages that seem to indicate that Yahweh was a separate and independent deity within El’s council. Deuteronomy 32:8-9 is one of those rare biblical passages that seemingly preserves a vestige of an earlier period in proto-Israelite religion where El and Yahweh were still depicted as separate deities: Yahweh was merely one of the gods of El’s council! This tradition undeniably comes from older Canaanite lore.

Other biblical passages reaffirm this archaic view of Yahweh as a god in El’s council. Psalm 82:1 speaks of the “assembly of El,” Psalm 29:1 enjoins “the sons of El” to worship Yahweh, and Psalm 89:6-7 lists Yahweh among El’s divine council.

Thus there seems to be ample evidence in the biblical record to support the claim that as Yahweh become the supreme national deity of the Israelites, he began to usurp the imagery, epithets, and old cultic centers of the god El. This process of assimilation even morphed the linguistic meaning of the name El, which later came to mean simply “god,” so that Yahweh was then directly identified as ’el—thus Joshua 22:22: “the god of gods is Yahweh” (’el ’elohim yhwh).

Noteworthy also is the fact that unlike the god Baal, there is no polemic in the Bible against El, and all the old cultic centers of El, those in Jerusalem, Shechem, and Beersheba, were later accredited to Yahweh. Since the large majority of patriarchal narratives that speak of shrines and altars to El are found in the northern kingdom, such as Bethel and Shechem, and, on the other hand, many biblical texts seem to accredit Yahweh’s origin to the southern Negeb, the current scholarly hypothesis is that the worship of El in the north and of Yahweh in the south eventually merged. 

Throughout history various minor groups have recognized that the biblical god of Judaism and Christianity is the true deceiver of man.Before the christianization of Europe and the birth of Islam ( El- Ellah-Allah) in the Middle East the various Gnostic esoteric schools such as the Ophites in Syria and Egypt and the Naasenes in Palestine understood that Yahweh was a malevolent impostor who had ensnared man in a system of deception whereas the rebellious Serpent of Eden in Genesis was the true benefactor of humanity whose illuminating knowledge liberated us from the slavery of the evil demiurgic god of the Jews. The Gnostics called him 'Yaldabaoth' or 'false god of this world' and recognized his evil deeds. The Ophite sects knew the great secret: the god of the Jews was the true devil who had claimed from himself the title of 'creator god' and inverted the roles of good and evil through deception presenting himself as the 'benevolent father' of mankind and slandering the Serpent of wisdom as 'the devil' and 'enemy of man'. This accusatory inversion began with the creation of the Christian Bible at the end of the 1st century and would deceive many generations throughout millennia.
I have always thought why the ONE GOD said in Quran and Bible run behind people for followers, prayers and sacrifice. From this research we understand that, the god of Quran and bible is not one God or a god of singularity as Parabrahman( Hindu ) or Supreme soul etc. The God of Bible and Quran is a deity ( Devata) a god with form, interests and has a very mysterious evolution and he himself keep hiding his real face after collecting attributes from different myths and civilizations.
Why did the Gnostics believe that Yahweh was a false and malevolent god? Unlike the medieval people who were subjected to the theocracy of the Catholic Church and were unable to read the Bible by themselves, the Gnostic intellectuals of the first centuries of the Christian Era did have access to all the biblical scriptures and were able to study them freely. They knew that the Hebrew Bible is chock-full of cruel acts of evil, ruthless genocides, demands of gruesome sacrifices, barbaric deeds and behaviors of tyranny attributed to Yahweh. In other words, the Gnostics knew that the biblical god was a real devil and his religions were brutal, bloodthirsty, misanthropic and obscurantist. The truth is that the Bible itself bears ample testimony that the supposed loving father of the Jews and Christians has a sadistic and evil nature and his numerous deeds documented in the so-called Sacred Scriptures are so abhorrent that most people today would believe that they were typical of a demonic entity. Upon reading the Bible objectively, it is evident that the Hebrew god Yahweh is a warlike, murderous and depraved character and it is clear that he has a great resentment for mankind. The biblical texts themselves put in doubt the morality and benevolence of the Judeochristian deity and do nothing more than confirm that Yahweh is the true adversary of humanity.

For example, the American intellectual Thomas Paine, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States, rejected the biblical god writing in The Age of Reason(1794) that 'the belief in a cruel god makes a cruel man' and advocated a Deistic theology whose deity was the god of nature. In the present age of science and the Internet now it is no news that the god of the Old Testament is an abominable nightmare (simply very few people have a complete knowledge of the content of the Bible and very few believers are honest enough to analyze their faith and the moral standard of their god in an objective manner). However, the fact that the history of the divine personage of Yahweh goes back to the Sumerian epoch of the third millennium BCE is something very novel for most readers. In this article I intend to delve into the history of the ancient cults and expose the true origin of that sinister god. In the end we will see what is the true identity of that great cosmic tyrant and decode the great secret of the millennia.

The Bible exposes clearly that Yahweh is a wrathful and intolerant god (Psalm 78), warlike and militaristic (Exodus 13:3; Psalm 2:1-12; Deuteronomy 7:23-24), murderous (2 Kings 2:23-24), genocidal (Exodus 32:27-28; Deuteronomy 20:11-17), unmerciful and cruel (1 Samuel 15:2-3), treacherous(Ezekiel 20:25-26), infanticidal (Psalms 135:8; 137:9; Exodus 12:29) and drunken with his lust for gruesome sacrifice (Leviticus 1:5-9).

The Bible makes it abundantly clear that the god of the Hebrews is not a god of love but a violent, bloodthirsty and ruthless tyrant. Here we see that the accusation that the father of the Jews, the devil, has been a murderer and liar from the beginning made by Jesus (John 8:44) is very applicable to the patriarchal Hebrew god Yahweh. If anyone still believes that the Judeochristian deity is a benevolent and loving entity they are only deceiving themselves, they have bought into a professional lie and are not being honest on an intellectual level. The Bible itself reveals that Yahweh is an authentic demon!

According to the Bible, Yahweh orders the Israelites not only to defeat the male warriors of the neighboring peoples but also to massacre ruthlessly unarmed women, defenseless old men, small children and even newborn infants (1 Samuel 15:2-3; Deuteronomy 2:33-34; 7:16; 13:15; Joshua 6:21; Ezekiel 9:5-7; Isaiah 13:15-18).

What kind of monster would be capable of asking for the killing of an innocent and defenseless baby?

In the same sick biblical book we read also that Yahweh ordered his servant Josiah to sacrifice the foreign priests in their temples and burn their bones on the altars (1 Kings 13:1-3; 16:34). 

The so-called 'loving father' demands that men be stoned to death just because they lit a flame or gathered firewood on the Sabbath day, the sanctified day of Yahweh (Exodus 31:12-15; Numbers 15:32-36); and requires also that believers murder their family members and friends if the decide to abandon the bloody cult of Yahweh and follow other spiritual paths (Deuteronomy 13:6-10). Likewise, New Testament theology teaches that all those who don't follow the barbaric religion of Yahweh will be judged by his supposed son Jesus and burnt in an infernal lake of fire (Revelation 20:10-14; John 8:24; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; 2:11-12). Yahweh is not a benevolent god but a loathsome monster and his accursed holy book is nothing more than an evil tool for the destruction of humanity!



As well as being an extremely malevolent entity whose character is sadistic, the Hebrew god Yahweh is also an adversary who was always opposed to the enlightenment of man. The story of the Garden of Eden in the Book of Genesis begins with a prohibition against the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge (Genesis 2:17). In the following chapter Yahweh not only lied telling Adam that the day that he ate from the Tree of Knowledge he would certainly die but also admitted that the Serpent was right acknowledging that man was like one of them = the gods (Genesis 3:4-5; 3:22). If we read Genesis carefully, we know that Adam really did acquire the knowledge of the gods when he ate from the forbidden fruit just as the Serpent had told him and we become aware that man didn't die because he ate from the Tree of Knowledge but because Yahweh himself and his malevolent cherubims blocked his access to the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24). Besides, the text says that Yahweh introduced many curses into the world on purpose (Genesis 3:16-19). It is evident that Yahweh never wanted man to awaken and have the same conscience as the divine beings and only wished to keep us as an ignorant slave in his terrestrial sanctuary.
